Vincent Jeannot
Vincent Jeannot is an author photographer exploring the intersection of human movement, classical literature, and digital creation.
With a natural, light-centric aesthetic inspired by Peter Lindbergh, his work focuses on contemporary dance, sensual photography, and the mechanics of the body, influenced by Laban Movement Analysis and master choreographers such as Merce Cunningham, Angelin Preljocaj, and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker.
His project, ‘Dante & IA’, transposes the Divine Comedy by merging physical studio captures of dancers—improvising forms inspired by Auguste Rodin—with artificial intelligence acting as an art director. The AI generates bespoke, immersive scenography, transforming the physical studio into the digital realms of Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise.

Corps Obscura
As a live performance photographer, I transpose the urgency of the stage into the closed environment of the studio. Corps Obscura is a self-published photobook documenting this physical exploration through the directed improvisation of dancers. Structured around Dante's Divine Comedy, the work traces a progressive deconstruction of matter across three acts. The body first confronts the raw matter of clay and the influence of Rodin's statuary, before fragmenting into a radical black-and-white abstraction. The journey concludes with the integration of generative AI as both choreographic assistant and set designer, building Dante's architectural realms around the captured bodies while strictly preserving the integrity of the original photograph.
